DISC IMAGES WITH DISK UTILITY

Do you have a DVD you frequently show in the classroom? You can use Disk Utility on the iMac to make a local copy of it, then store it on Google Drive to have it available on any station you use. Keep your class movie library instantly available. No more searching for discs or players!

LABEL SHEETS IN GOOGLE DOCS

You can print Avery-brand adhesive labels in Google apps with a simple add-on. This guide explains how to set up the labels, pick the label style and print the end result, all done in Google Docs and Sheets.

SCANNING USING OCR

Did you know our large district copiers (Canon 8295) can perform optical character recognition? This procedure converts printed text on a paper document into selectable text you can copy & paste from a PDF. This is also useful with Snap & Read, our text-to-speech Chrome extension.

QUIZZES IN EPIC! BOOKS FOR KIDS

Epic!Books for Kids is an app for iPads and Chrome devices that offer access to hundreds of age-appropriate books, videos and games. You can also use it to create unique quizzes for books that the students have read, similar to Reading Counts.

CONTACT GROUPS FOR EMAIL

You can build custom contact groups in Gmail, allowing you to create your own email recipient list for any purpose. This is also possible to do in Apple Mail, but we recommend using the Gmail web interface to minimize unexpected issues.

GOOGLE TAKEOUT TRANSFER
