Meal Charging Policy
On the first occurrence when a child comes through the lunch line without enough money on account to cover the meal cost or without cash, they will be fed the regular full lunch feature of the day. A letter will be sent home notifying the parent/guardian that their child's lunch account has a low balance/needs money. The meal will be charged to his/her account and needs to be reimbursed. After that first occurrence, on subsequent days, if no money has been placed in the account, your child will receive a Meal Supplement consisting of a cold sandwich and milk. Excessive occurrences will be referred to your child's Principal for assistance in making sure that your child continues to be fed.

You can make payments and view your child's account balance at anytime. If you prefer, the traditional option allows for payment via cash or check payable to "Southgate Food Service" which may be sent to school with your child.
