The Grants Office administers the following state and federal formula grants:

Great Start Readiness Preschool Program

 

The Free and Reduced Lunch Program offers help to district families who qualify.  The application can be found on the district web site or by contacting your building administrator.  All information is strictly confidential. Applications are available all year long.  FRL counts generate Title I and 31a funds for programs in the district.

 

Southgate Community School District has an outreach program for Homeless Assistance.  The contact person is Anne Mixer, Department of Special Services. She can be reached at 734-246-4619.  All information is kept in strictest confidence.

 

The Grants Office seeks competitive grants through foundations and state and federal sources as well as other types of funding.
