Equipment Agreement

Students participating in any of our athletics programs are responsible for the appropriate care of the equipment issued during the season. Equipment issued is the property of Southgate Community School District and must be returned upon the close of the season.

If an athlete fails to return issued equipment or if the equipment is deemed to have abnormal wear, the Athletic Department will issue a fine that must be paid.  Students with unpaid fines will lose their open campus for lunch and be unable to purchase tickets for homecoming and prom.  Additionally, seniors with outstanding fines will not be allowed to participate in commencements.
