K - 5th Grade Fundraiser

The SPELL-A-THON is a fun way to encourage better writing while working to raise money for our school!

Pledge packets and grade level words will go home with students before Easter/Spring Break.
Please be on the look out!!!

Here's how it works:

1.  Students study the assigned grade level word list while getting pledges on their pledge sheet.  Family and friends can pledge money per word, or give a one-time donation.

2.  Students turn in the pledge sheet to their teacher.

3.  All students come prepared to take the Spell-A-Thon test.

4.  Students collect the money owed to them from their pledgers based on how many words they spelled correctly, and turn it in to their teacher.

5.  A small prize is awarded in each classroom to the student who has the highest number of words correct and has turned in all pledge money on time.  All participants will receive a certificate of participation.

All fundraising money will be used to support an outstanding reading program called "Making Meaning", and PBIS rewards and prizes.

This is fun, academic way to earn money and support the great things we are doing at Fordline!!
